GROUP ASSIGNMENT I - LEVELLING
· To find the elevation of the given point with respect to some assumed reference lines, datum. · To establish point at required elevation respect to datum. · To determine the difference in height of two discrete points · To analyze the probable errors that occurs while carrying out the survey.·
To be aware of the types of errors that are present in the readings.
GROUP ASSIGNMENT II - TRAVERSING
· To determine the actual position of the boundary
· To authorize the position of the boundary line
· To determine the area encircle within a boundary
· To establish ground control for photographic mapping
Learning outcome
Discipline Specific Knowledge- that we are able to apply the theory and
knowledge what we learnt from the class and understand more about the
professional practice of our course in the construction industry.
Moreover, it has also help me to ameliorate my thinking and problem
solving skills. In this particular project, we were required to think
creatively and critically in order to solve the levelling and traversing
errors that occurred during the survey that was conducted.
Since this is a group assignment, communication skills between the
members is definitely essential for this project to be a success. After
this assignment, each of our communication skills has definitely
increase by leaps and bounds as it is vital to communicate with our
group members in order for everyone to keep on the same pace.
